In 1990, I started my career in mortgage lending. Starting in the mailroom (yes, really), I worked my way up the ranks with major homebuilders and lenders in various roles including Mortgage Loan Originator, Branch Manager, Area Manager and Regional Builder Manager. I attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs), earned my B.A. from Trevecca University and an MBA from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. 

I feel that what we do in mortgage lending matters. As a result, I take a consultative (not a sales) approach when meeting with my customers and advising them based on their goals (not mine)! I feel that it is my job to make sure you have a great loan for your home. I understand the process of buying a home, from the dream, through the selections, to the final home orientation and closing. I know that this is a very exciting time in my customers’ lives and I am honored to be part of the process. I am here to listen, guide and help you through the process.

I live in Franklin, TN with my wife and two sons. My wife is a teacher. My oldest son attends the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and my youngest son is a freshman at Franklin High School. Oh, we have a lab named Chubb! I am involved with the Boy Scouts of America (my son and I are Eagle Scouts), Habitat for Humanity and I am a volunteer for Junior Achievement-BizTown. In my spare time, I love watching SEC Football, enjoy water sports, playing guitar and golf.
