My introduction into the mortgage business was unusual and unexpected. I was serving as an analyst for the Army and as often happens, they weren’t sure at the time if they could give me further orders. A friend of mine said I should try my hand at being a loan officer and I couldn’t be happier to have made the switch! I love helping fellow veterans and all those looking to buy a home fulfill their version of the American Dream! I have been originating loans since 2020 and have been both a loan officer assistant and now a loan officer.

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended the University of Utah before serving an LDS mission in the Caribbean speaking French. After returning, I attended both Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University. In 2015, I joined the U.S. Army as an intelligence linguist in order to gain some life skills and the drill sergeants couldn’t have been more qualified to do so. From 2016 to 2017 I attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California to learn Modern Standard Arabic. I loved my time in the military and served for six years in the Army as an enlisted soldier and NCO. Finally, after returning from language school, I finished my BA in Middle East Studies at the University of Utah in 2019.

I enjoy fishing, hiking, watching sports, and spending time with my wife and two kids. I am excited to be part of the DHI team and to contribute to their established success!
