COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

DHIFS proudly partners with organizations on the front lines of our industry, allowing us to monitor policy changes that affect what we do every day. This includes organizations advocating for women and minorities, with the goal of making our industry more diverse and equitable, as well as making homeownership more accessible.

Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA)

Founded in 2003, AREAA is a nonprofit trade organization dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities by creating a powerful national voice for housing and real estate professionals that serve this dynamic market.

Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA)

As the leading advocate for the real estate finance industry, the MBA works directly with policymakers to shape policy. MBA provides tools that empower its members to deliver sustainable and responsible financing within ever-changing business environments. Their D&I initiative includes assessments, compliance guides, scholarship programs, and recognition for members who innovate ways to foster diversity and inclusion in the industry. The MBA is proud to offer mPower, the largest networking organization for women in real estate finance. Its mission is to provide a platform for women to strengthen their networks and achieve professional growth and development.

National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP)

National Partner

NAHREP’s mission is to educate and empower real estate professionals who serve Hispanic homebuyers, thereby helping more Hispanic families achieve the American Dream. Our National Partnership with NAHREP allows our employees to be involved in the most important housing and lending issues that affect the Latino population in the U.S., at a national and local level.

National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA)

Silver Partnership

NAMMBA’s mission is to increase the engagement of minorities and women in the mortgage banking industry at the local, state, and national levels through education, mentorship, and advocacy. DHI encourages teammate participation through local chapter involvement.

National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB)

NAREB is a Real Estate Professional trade organization with local chapters across the country that embrace our ideals and mission of “promoting democracy in housing.” Their national goal is to bring together the nation’s minority professionals in the real estate industry to promote the meaningful exchange of ideas about their business and how best to serve their clientele.
