I have been around the homebuying process my entire life, starting as my mom’s “Junior Real Estate Agent” when I was still in preschool. I loved going to show houses with her, and I grew up knowing that it was only a matter of time until I also became a Realtor. I couldn’t wait to spend my days helping people obtain their homeownership dreams. As it turned out, I was only partially right. I did become a licensed Realtor, and even worked for D.R. Horton in that respect for a couple of years, but I wasn’t passionate about it. Then I found my home at DHI Mortgage. It just felt right, and I realized this is where I can make the biggest impact assisting people with ownership goals. I am now licensed to originate loans in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi.

Over the years, I have learned that no two mortgages are the same, just as no two people are the same, so I make sure I understand each customer’s individual situation, wants, and needs. I enjoy applying those details to help people find the right loan program, whether they are just beginning their dream of homeownership, buying their forever home, investing in their future, or even refinancing. The time I spend getting to know people has resulted in many friendships that last well beyond the homebuying process.

I graduated from the University of Alabama, where I received several academic honors, including the Cleophus Thomas Award given to the graduating minority senior(s) with the highest academic standing. As a proud alumna, I like cheering on the Crimson Tide in football and gymnastics. However, my best friend went to Auburn, and another Auburn fan stole my heart. I married him and gained 4 wonderful kids in the process. So now I live in a house divided. I will always yell, “Roll Tide!” but can also be found watching the Tigers on occasion. It’s a small price to pay since my favorite thing to do outside the office is spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and just about anything on the water. The beautiful Eastern Shore has been my home for almost 30 years, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
