I was born in Birmingham, Alabama.  I moved to Atlanta in 1986, where I attended Georgia Institute of Technology on a full football scholarship. Shortly after college, I joined the Fulton County Police Department, where I spent 9 years as a Special Operations Detective. Prior to entering the mortgage profession, I spent 10 years as an Investment Advisor Representative.

I come to DHI Mortgage, as a Mortgage Loan Originator, with over fifteen years of financial services experience. My strengths include a unique combination of excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and a comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry. I understand that your situation is unique and will work with you to create a loan scenario that best suits your personal goals and needs. I have a knack for making the loan process understandable and less intimidating. I have assisted hundreds of people in obtaining their financial goals by way of financial seminars, workshops, and one on one consultations.

I’m the proud father of Jessica, Joshua, and Shelby Chamblin. My hobbies include golf, fishing, & reading (a book a month). Active in the community, I’ve volunteered countless hours to assisting the Dutchtown High School band booster club, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, and the Atlanta Community Foodbank.
