Mark Helms, DHI Loan Officer

Brief Biography: Mark Helms knows what home buyers in the North East Texas area need in the way of programs and services. Mark is a native of East Texas. He was born and raised in Center, Texas. Mark graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1998. Mark has been with the DHI Mortgage Team for six years, and during this time he has helped over 1000 families accomplish their dream of owning a new home. Mark has also earned the right to become a member of our company’s President’s Club. This honor is achieved through maintaining the highest level of production coupled with excellence in customer service.

Mark got his first mortgage for his own house through DHI Mortgage, well before working for DHI, after having two bad experiences with other lenders. He found that as a first time homebuyer he was not taken seriously by lenders. He also found these lenders to be very unhelpful. Since joining our team Mark has specialized in helping first time homebuyers get into a new home. As a result of that experience, he maintains a level of service that stresses the importance of making each of his buyers feel as though they are his only customers. Mark also maintains that there are no bad questions other than the ones that are not asked.
